man I'm tired!

Good afternoon everyone! Man I am SSOOOO tired! I'm not sure if I'm more or less tired now than I was while on vacation! I did manage to get a cold, or most likely bronchitis again, while on vaca so that's not really helping the tired factor. I can't sleep at night due to extreme coughing and the cough medicine with codeine is a freaking joke! I just swig that crap out of the bottle and it doesn't help AT ALL!!

So we're trying to get back to normal routine, Carter is making it pretty easy. He's such a good baby! When he decides he's tired, that's it, he's going to sleep, period. Lay him down with his blankie and he's out.

I called and talked to Alanis yesterday, bless her little heart, she even remembered that it was Jeff and I's 2 year anniversary! She actually went to the Black Hills the day we were leaving so I was asking her all about that, she loved the snakes at Reptile Gardens! Yuck! She definitely doesn't get that from me!

Calling and talking to Brady is such a blast! The kid just rambles on at full speed talking about all the fun gadgets he has and barely has time to catch a breath! I know I caught something about being in the gravel pit and picking up a dead rat, well mouse, but he was scared and didn't want to but he did anyway and then threw it down right away! Yeah, that's how that part of the conversation went!

So yeah, yesterday was Jeff and I's 2nd year wedding anniversary. It's actually kind of hard to believe it's been 2 years already! I still believe I have the best man EVER although sometimes I think I may be lying to myself! Obviously we've both grown a lot in the last couple years and with growing comes change. People have to learn how to grow and change together otherwise then end up divorced. At this point I'm naive enough to think that Jeff and I will always be able to work through whatever comes our way. We both love each other very much and came into this marriage with the understanding that it was FOREVER! We are far from being perfect but we definitely try hard. I can't imagine anyone else who I could be with that would be as great of a dad as Jeff is, he loves all three kids as they are all equally his and don't try telling him otherwise cuz you'll be in for a fight! Sometimes I think we fight just to remind ourselves that we're human and therefore not perfect!
